Tin Can Juggle 1.0.1 Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the future advertising-enabled 1.0.1 update when it is released. The policy for the original ad-free version covers that version. This version-specific policy does not change how 1.0.0 works.
Tin Can Juggle is an iPhone game from Disdained EGG, LLC. You do not need a Disdained EGG account. Contact us at support@disdainedegg.com.
You can play Tin Can Juggle without ads or Game Center. Eligible US players may see restricted Google ads in Pause, and you can object to advertising data use in Privacy & Data. Ads and country checks involve information such as your IP address; Game Center is optional. This policy explains those services, the information we use and your privacy choices.
Playing and information on your device
Your BEST streak, Game Center preference and advertising objection are stored on your device. Current HITS and can motion are not saved between sessions. We do not run a cloud score service or upload these local records to a Disdained EGG server.
The game can be played without advertising or Game Center. An unavailable ad, an advertising objection or an unsuccessful country check does not prevent ordinary play. A separate Apple permission requirement for a significant app update may restrict access until it is resolved, as explained below.
Advertising in Pause
Eligible players in the United States may see image advertisements supplied by Google in the main Pause panel. An ad can be prepared while the game is open, including during gameplay, but is displayed only in Pause. It is hidden during gameplay, countdown, Help, leaderboard screens and when the app goes into the background. Known minors do not receive ads. Outside the United States, or when eligibility cannot be established, advertising stays off.
We request Google’s Limited Ads and restricted data processing. We disable publisher first-party IDs and publisher personalization treatment, request G-rated creatives, reject video ads and disable Google’s automated SDK crash reporter. We do not request permission to access Apple’s advertising identifier or use customer lists for personalized advertising.
These restrictions still involve data processing. Google and participating advertising providers may handle your IP address, approximate location, app and device signals or identifiers, ad delivery and interaction information, performance information and other diagnostics. These support ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Programmatic Limited Ads can use local storage for invalid-traffic prevention. We do not configure cross-app personalized advertising; this does not mean that every identifier, diagnostic or storage operation is eliminated.
Google’s Limited Ads explanation, restricted data processing terms and privacy policy describe its handling. Eligible demand may include Google’s advertising partners; restricted data processing does not automatically cover every third party’s independent handling. Opening an advertiser’s destination is a separate interaction governed by that destination’s privacy information.
Country checks
After the app’s local privacy and applicable Apple checks permit it, Tin contacts disdainedegg.com through Cloudflare to check whether your network connection is in the United States. This request can also occur outside the United States. Cloudflare receives your connecting IP address and network information needed to serve and protect the request. The app receives only a temporary US, non-US or unknown result. It does not request GPS access or establish your state, residency or exact physical location.
The app does not attach an advertising ID, Game Center ID, birthday or age range to this request. Its country-check code does not deliberately log or retain requests, and the app does not keep a permanent country history. Cloudflare’s network and security processing is separate from that code; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. A short-lived country result is not a promise that a provider deletes its records at the same time.
Apple age and update requirements
Where supported, Apple tells the app which age or significant-update requirements apply. If Apple successfully reports that none apply, the app does not ask for age simply to make restricted advertising available. A failed or unavailable determination keeps advertising off. When required, the app uses Apple’s age-sharing, parental-permission or adult-acknowledgment interface. We do not add a birthday form, identity-verification account or parental messaging service.
The app uses age information only to derive the needed eligibility or access decision. It does not retain raw age ranges or send them to Google, Cloudflare or an analytics service. These Apple decisions are held for the current process; a required flow may repeat after restarting. Apple handles its own account and service information under Apple’s privacy policy.
A confirmed applicable update requirement can restrict access while pending, denied or unresolved. Update approval never overrides an advertising objection and never permits advertising to a known minor. Apple also provides app-consent controls; Tin does not operate a separate account or server consent history.
Your advertising choice
Open Pause → Help & Privacy → Privacy & Data → Object to advertising data use. The app blocks further app-controlled advertising and country checks, clears its cached ad and saves an objection on this device. This choice does not turn off Game Center or cancel a separate Apple update requirement.
A saved objection survives restarting the app. There is no in-game switch to undo it, and it is not synchronized across devices or guaranteed to survive reinstalling. If the app cannot confirm saving, it says so and keeps advertising blocked in that process. The choice cannot recall information already sent or promise that all internal work by an already-started SDK stops immediately.
Optional Game Center
Game Center starts off until you turn on Use Game Center in Pause. The saved preference is distinct from being connected: cancelling sign-in or going offline does not change the switch. Eligible new streak scores can be submitted to Apple after connecting; historical local BEST is not uploaded.
A local submission journal contains the game-specific Game Center identifier, queued scores and submission records so scores stay with the correct account and are not submitted twice. We do not send this journal to our own server or intentionally pass its identifier to advertising. Turning Game Center off stops new submissions; it does not erase the journal or scores already sent, and cannot recall a submission handed to Apple.
Apple operates Game Center. Your nickname, avatar and scores may be visible to other players under Apple’s settings. See Game Center & Privacy for those controls and Apple’s retention practices.
Support, diagnostics and this website
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Please avoid sending information that is not needed. The app does not attach its local records automatically to support email.
If you choose to share diagnostics through Apple’s settings, we use only aggregate or de-identified information supplied by Apple for occasional crash troubleshooting. We may review crash frequency, crash signatures, stack traces and technical diagnostics only where they are not linked to an identifiable player or persistent device identity. We exclude individual reports containing persistent device identifiers from our collection and retention. If Apple does not supply a suitable aggregate or de-identified source, we do not collect or use that report; removing identifiers after collection is not our approach.
We do not operate a separate crash uploader, maintain an identifiable crash-report database or link these diagnostics to players or other identifying records. This practice is separate from Google’s SDK diagnostics and its disabled automated crash reporter. See Apple Device Analytics & Privacy.
During earlier TestFlight testing, Apple collected testing and feedback information and may have shared it with us, including contact details depending on your invitation. That beta-testing flow was separate from App Store crash-report sharing. See TestFlight & Privacy.
Our website uses Cloudflare hosting and Cloudflare Web Analytics for website traffic and performance measurement. Website visits are separate from the game’s country-check request. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Retention and privacy requests
Local preferences and records remain on your device until removed by the app or device’s data-management behavior; there is no cloud restore promise for the advertising objection. We retain support and diagnostic information only as needed to respond, investigate, verify fixes and complete follow-up. We delete it when no longer needed, except for legal obligations, an ongoing dispute or a security investigation. Apple’s, Google’s and Cloudflare’s independent retention is governed by their own policies; our ad-cache timers do not control it. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or restriction of or objection to processing. Where applicable, you may withdraw consent, opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, appeal a decision, or complain to your privacy regulator. Use the in-game objection for future app-controlled ad and country activity, or email support@disdainedegg.com for help or other requests. We will handle requests for information we hold and explain where a provider’s own controls or request process applies. Exercising privacy rights does not itself block ordinary gameplay; separate applicable Apple access requirements still apply.
We will update this policy when the game’s practices change and identify which version the changes cover.
